SU tennis earns conference honors

The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its all-conference honors for women's and men's tennis for the 2008 athletic year. Southern's Megan Wiltz was named the SWAC Women's Player of the Year, while the Jags Kathryn Curtis was named the SWAC's Freshman of the Year. SU also placed four women on the All-SWAC first team, while two doubles teams from SU make of two of the three teams selected for doubles competition.

On the men's side, Kashwayne Nelson was selected to the All-SWAC first team, while Tyler Chin and Marlon Gichie were selected as first team doubles partners.
